Laminar Air Supply Ceiling Principle

Laminar Flow Air Supply Ceiling is a necessary air supply device for Operating Rooms in modern hospitals. It adopts advanced leak proof layer technology and reasonable airflow distribution, effectively ensuring the air cleanliness of the Operating Room, especially the operating area (air supply surface level 100), and reducing the risk of surgical infection.

Working Principle

Clean air enters the Laminar Flow Air Supply Ceiling, and after being filtered by high-efficiency filters, it is sent into the room in a stable vertical laminar flow, thus forming a clean area and pushing the contaminated air out to the outside of the room.

Features of Laminar Flow

• Material: Stainless steel or aluminum alloy structure is often used, corrosion-resistant and easy to clean.

• Laminar airflow: After the air is filtered by high efficiency filters (HEPA) or ultra-high efficiency filters (ULPA), it enters the room in a low-speed, uniform, unidirectional airflow pattern (laminar flow) to minimize air disturbance and reduce the risk of pollutant diffusion.
