Cleanroom purification technology employs varying degrees of control over microbial contamination to achieve the required air cleanliness levels in the surgical environment, ensuring suitability for various Surgical Operating Room. It also provides appropriate temperature and humidity conditions to create a clean and comfortable surgical environment. Given the strict control of bacterial counts and low anaesthetic gas concentrations in operating rooms, the stability of laminar flow ultra-clean systems is a critical acceptance criterion for laminar flow purification Operating Theatre.
1. Special clean operating rooms, with a purification level of 100, where the air cleanliness level in the surgical area must reach Grade 5 and the surrounding areas must reach Grade 6. These are primarily used for life-threatening surgeries such as heart valve replacement, organ transplantation, and joint replacement, with the operating table being the key area requiring intensive purification.
2. Standard operating rooms, with a cleanliness level of Class 1000 and Class 10000, require air cleanliness of Level 6 in the surgical area and Level 7 in the surrounding areas. These are primarily used for ophthalmic surgery, plastic surgery, burn surgery, orthopaedic surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, and extracorporeal circulation preparation procedures.
3. General clean operating rooms, with a purification level of 100000, where air cleanliness in the surgical area must reach Level 7 and surrounding areas must reach Level 8. These are primarily used for thoracic surgery, urology, obstetrics and gynaecology, otolaryngology, and other procedures, with sterile rooms in the operating suite.
4. Surgical auxiliary rooms and pre-operative rooms, with a purification level of 300000, are primarily used for outpatient and emergency infection surgeries, corridors, restrooms, and anaesthesia preparation rooms.
